Gourmate is our flagship product for our Point of Sales (POS) clients. Through hundreds of major installations globally, Gourmate has established itself to be the leader in providing total POS solutions to diverse cultures worldwide.

The key to Gourmate's success is the use of an open systems architecture that is compatible with most hardware and software available for the PC. Originally designed to run on SCO UNIX, the most popular Intel-based UNIX System in the market place, Gourmate is capable of running on most operating systems, including the popular Linux Operating System.

Gourmate provides a complete POS solution for managers with its network of POS Stations, kitchen/bar printers, PMS interface and fiber optic links. All stations, either keyboard based or touch screen, use standard PC compatible components. Gourmate utilizes TCP/IP and/or RS232 as its standard communications protocols, making it very easy to be integrated with existing networks. Based on DBF database format, sales data generated from Gourmate is readily available to be exported to or integrated with third party software such as Microsoft Excel and Crystal Reports.

True Multi Language
Gourmate was the first of a very limited number of POS systems that can handle double-byte characters, i.e. Chinese (Traditional & Simplified), Japanese, Thai and other languages. The display language on the screens and the printed languages on kitchen slips or on guest checks can all be different and independent from each other.
